About the position
Support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care. Medical Assistants must adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. They are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion during all interactions.

Responsibilities
- FIT Testing
- Data Entry
- Flu Vaccine Program
- Education and Care for minor injuries
- Blood Pressures
- Intake for newly hired team members - providing new hire appointments
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification issued by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Certified Clinical Medial Assistant (CCMA) Certification issued by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- Medical Assistant (RMA) certification issued by the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Medical Assistant (NCMA) certification issued by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- AMCA - American Medical Certification Association (CMAC)
Nice-to-haves
- Phlebotomy skills are preferred.
