Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician specializing in PLUMBING and industrial systems to join our team on a compressed day shift schedule. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems within a manufacturing facility. Your PLUMBING expertise will ensure the seamless operation of equipment, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an energetic environment where proactive maintenance and technical problem-solving drive operational excellence.

Duties

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic systems, HVAC/R units, and other mechanical components using schematics and blueprints.
  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule upcoming tasks efficiently.
  • Conduct welding (including welding) and pipefitting tasks to repair or install plumbing infrastructure with precision.
  • Operate field service tools such as scissor lifts and other industrial equipment to access hard-to-reach areas safely.
  • Read electrical blueprints and schematics to diagnose complex engineering troubleshooting issues across various systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on analysis skills related to system performance improvements and maintenance strategies.
  • Support customer service initiatives by ensuring equipment reliability and providing technical assistance when needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in manufacturing facility maintenance or industrial mechanic roles with a focus on plumbing systems.
  • Ability to perform welding (including welding), pipefitting, and use of maintenance tools in an industrial setting.
  • Industrial electrician experience combined with mechanical knowledge is desirable.
  • Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance management is preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic systems, analyze system data, and perform field service repairs efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.
  • Valid Plumbing License is a plus.
