Step into a dynamic school-based role serving students across the Metro Atlanta area as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Interviewing now for the upcoming academic year, this opportunity presents a meaningful way to make a difference in a diverse community, supporting students from preschool through high school. Both full-time (35 hours/week) and select part-time positions are available, with most SLPs working at one dedicated campus and caseloads thoughtfully assigned.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students K-12 (with some pre-K, adolescent, and low-incidence needs).
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to address articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication challenges.
- Collaborating closely with teachers, special educators, and caregivers to support students academic and social growth.
- Contributing to IEP meetings, documenting progress, and aligning practices with state guidelines.
- Delivering services onsite at assigned locations. There is no teletherapy; support is in person, fostering strong team and student connections.
- For bilingual SLPs, opportunities exist to provide specialized services and coverage at select campuses with a bonus incentive.
Ideal candidates bring:
- An active SLP license in Georgia and current GA DOE Certification.
- School-based SLP experience (strongly preferred), but CF eligible and seasoned practitioners are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Organizational skills and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
- Spanish proficiency valued for designated campuses but not required for all roles.
