Savannah Cruzers is looking for a Tour Support Dispatcher to help keep our daily tours running smoothly. This role is the friendly voice guests hear on the phone, the helpful reply in their inbox, and a go-to point of contact for our guides throughout the day.

We're looking for someone organized and easy to talk to, who can keep up with a fast-moving day of calls, emails, and messages.

Above all, we need someone who is adaptable and flexible enough to adjust to last- minute changes and needs. Excellent communication is a must. Multitasking is very important as this position is sometimes very dynamic with simultaneous phone calls, emails and timely chats with guides.

What you'll do

  • Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries — booking questions, day-of issues, general information
  • Serve as point contact for guides, ensuring departures and returns are on time
  • Dispatch tours: assign guides and cars and manage logistics for the day
  • Field real-time guide questions and escalations — route issues, guest concerns, mechanical problems, weather calls
  • Track day-of changes: cancellations, late arrivals, no-shows
  • Log incidents and keep the day's roster current
  • Occasional field work to dispatch special tours or events in person

What we're looking for

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, above all else
  • Flexible and adaptable — schedules and situations change fast in this role
  • Calm under pressure with good judgment for quick decisions
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once — a ringing phone, an email, and a guide on the phone, all at the same time

Tools and programs we use

  • Google Calendar
  • Viator
  • WhatsApp
  • Comfort learning new software is a requirement for this position
  • Must have reliable personal computer and high-speed internet connection

Schedule & pay

  • 4-5 days/week, shifts running roughly 10–12 hours (8am–6pm or 8am–8pm)
  • $12.50/hour

Training

Paid onboarding includes shadowing an experienced dispatcher, riding along on live tours to see operations from the guide's seat, and supervised practice before running shifts solo.

Pay: $12.50 per hour

Location:

  • Savannah, GA (Required)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (Required)
  • Night Shift (Required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Savannah, GA
