Duties

  • Assist in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as concrete forming, rebar installation, and water damage restoration.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, assemble, and install various building components including siding, drywall, cabinetry, doors, and fixtures.
  • Execute framing work using metal studs or wood for walls, partitions, or structural elements following technical drawings.
  • Install flooring, tiles, stucco finishes, roofing materials, and siding with precision and attention to detail.
  • Support in restoration projects by performing plastering, mold remediation, water damage repair, and general renovation tasks.
  • Follow safety protocols related to power tool operation, scaffolding use, heavy lifting techniques, and site safety standards to maintain a secure work environment.

Experience

  • Proven construction site experience with a solid understanding of construction estimating and project timelines.
  • Skilled in reading blueprints and technical drawings accurately for various trades including carpentry and masonry.
  • Hands-on experience with trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, fixture installation, and remodeling projects.
  • Familiarity with schematics for electrical or plumbing systems is a plus; experience with CNC machinery or fabrication is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices such as power tool safety and proper handling of heavy materials.
  • Experience working on restoration projects involving water damage remediation or mold removal is preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards; previous manufacturing or drywall experience is beneficial.
