The Hunnicutt Law Group is a well-established business litigation law firm serving businesses and individuals throughout North Texas. We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal / Executive Assistant (Business Litigation) to become an integral member of our team.
This is a key position within our firm. The successful candidate will work directly with our attorneys, serve as one of the primary points of contact for our clients, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and helps keep our attorneys one step ahead. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, highly organized, and naturally anticipates the needs of the attorneys, clients, and office rather than waiting for assignments or direction.

Primary Responsibilities
- Qualify and screen prospective clients by telephone and schedule attorney consultations.
- Serve as one of the primary points of contact for clients while providing exceptional customer service.
- Prepare, proofread, and organize legal documents and correspondence.
- Maintain attorney calendars, litigation deadlines, and case files.
- Provide litigation support and assist with case management, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
- Coordinate attorney travel, meetings, and related logistics.
- Enter and track client costs and expenses within the firm's legal case management system.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files.
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional office environment for clients and visitors.
- Work closely with Firm management to support the day-to-day operation of the office.
- Assist attorneys and staff with projects that contribute to the overall success of the firm.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Minimum five (5) years of law firm experience.
- Litigation experience required; business or commercial litigation experience strongly preferred.
- Experience qualifying and screening prospective clients by telephone.
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent grammar, proofreading, and document preparation skills.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office; experience with Clio Manage or similar legal case management software is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate attorney needs rather than waiting for assignments.
- Professional demeanor, polished business-professional appearance, sound judgment, discretion, and exceptional client service skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Additional Information
This is a full-time, in-office position located in North Dallas. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
