We are seeking a registered respiratory therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in or near Akron, Ohio. The role offers competitive pay up to $2,160 per week and a pathway to permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy assessments and treatments to patients during assigned shifts.
•
Monitor patient responses to therapies, adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
•
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatments, and procedures according to hospital protocols.
•
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
•
Execute emergency respiratory procedures and support critical care situations as required.
Qualifications:
•
Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
•
State of Ohio respiratory licensure.
•
National Board of Respiratory Care certification.
•
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
•
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
•
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
•
S.T.A.B.L.E. certification (obtainable within first year of employment).
•
1–3 years of respiratory therapy experience in a healthcare or medical setting (preferred).

Ability to work day and night shifts.
•
Flexibility with shift schedules.
•
Strong communication skills.
•
Ability to adapt to hospital environment and comply with facility safety protocols.
