Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Okie Staffing is seeking a dependable and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment at active job sites.

This is a field-based role, ideal for someone who is confident working independently and comfortable in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment in the field

Perform maintenance on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components

Service equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and other construction machinery

Complete preventive maintenance to minimize downtime

Conduct inspections and identify mechanical issues

Accurately document repairs and completed work

Follow all safety procedures on job sites

Work outdoors in heat, sun, and changing weather conditions
