Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Assistant, your role will involve various tasks, including:

• Performing routine administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling inbound calls to assist patients and respond to their inquiries.
• Assisting in clinical tasks such as taking patient histories, recording vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations to facilitate smooth patient flow.
• Effectively communicating with insurance companies to ensure proper billing procedures and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Escorting patients to examination rooms, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about their visit.
• Supporting the medical staff during procedures and follow-up appointments.
• Managing laboratory specimens, including collecting blood through phlebotomy and preparing samples for processing while adhering to proper protocols.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
