SUMMARY

To perform Final Inspection of completed product and dimensional inspection of parts to promote company success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Perform Final inspection of products

Perform dimensional and cosmetic inspection of Supplier parts

Perform dimensional and cosmetic inspection of Internal parts

Research and disposition of MRB parts/products

Review and disposition of Rework or other parts

Assist in data collection, testing or other departmental tasks

Accurately fill out all forms, logs and other Quality paperwork as required.

Assist as back up for Auditing and testing tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong leadership skills/experience. Lean manufacturing knowledge is ideal.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong communication skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
