EMS Dispatcher

EMS Dispatcher – Louisville, KY

Baptist Health is looking for an EMS Dispatcher to join our team in Louisville, KY. The dispatcher is responsible for communications with Baptist Health EMS Ambulance Service crews for patients requiring transportation services to and/or from a Baptist Healthcare facility. They maintain overall accuracy and expediency of collating documentation, current knowledge of EPIC software and related EMS patient care reporting. The position ensures integrity of data at the System Service Center EMS Dispatch Center and protects PHI while demonstrating strong communication and prioritization skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; EMT education preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year prior dispatch/communication experience.
• Working knowledge and use of MS Office products.
• Must obtain Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist (CADS) within 1 year from hire date.
