As a FedEx Ground Team Truck Driver, you will safely and efficiently handle Over-the-Road (OTR) runs. This role is operationally based in the Hutchins, TX area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles (and triples, where permitted).
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on equipment.
• Handle Drop Hook Only freight with No-touch freight.
• Accurately verify and complete all required documentation and reports.
• Maintain precise daily logs.
• Follow dispatch instructions and keep communication open regarding delays, arrivals, or equipment issues.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• At least 1 year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience within the last 3 years.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no accidents or tickets in the past 3 years.
• Ability to pass background checks, MVR Screening, Clearinghouse Login Verification, and Drug Test.
• Capacity to attain doubles/triples trailer endorsement.
• Willingness to follow instructions and complete necessary training.
• Preferred: Ability to drive a manual transmission without restrictions.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Earn $0.80 per mile for the first 5,000 miles each week.
• Earn $0.90 per mile for all miles driven after 5,000 miles in the same week.

Requirements Summary:

• Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Must possess one year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience in the last three years.
• Must be capable of passing a background check.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no accidents or tickets in the last 3 years.
• Must have or be willing to obtain doubles/triples endorsement.
• Capable of following instructions and completing required training.
• Complete all necessary screenings including Background Check, MVR Screening, Clearinghouse login, and Drug Test.
