Accountant/Bookkeeper

We are seeking an Bookkeeper to join our team! The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accuracy and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of the music and entertainment industry while doing accounting.

You will assist with the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company, helping ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, meticulous, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Perform payroll and bookkeeping through QuickBooks.
• Enter daily sales.
• Prepare event settlements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank accounts, checkbooks, credit card statements, and ATM reports.
• Complete month-end closing procedures.
• File employment taxes.
• Assist with additional administrative responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks.
• Experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Bachelor's (preferred), Accounting Program, or In-Field Experience

Schedule

• Full-time or Part-time position available.
• Flexible Hours
• Approximately 15–40 hours per week, depending on experience and versatility in other administrative areas.

Work Location

This is an in-person position located in Minneapolis, MN 55403.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
