School Age Summer Teacher

Wee Care Child Development Center in Sanatoga is a licensed childcare center seeking Part-time Teachers for our School Age Summer Program.  This is a seasonal position.

To be   QUALIFIED   for this position, we require a high school diploma or GED. Must have two years of experience working with children.

Required Shift: Part-time, Mon-Fri, 9:30am-2:30pm

Compensation: $15 - $18/hr.   based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:

Assist with all aspects   of the camp program   in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.

Implement activities   that   encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative ,   and physical development .

Take direction, accept constructive criticism ,   and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program .

Creat e   and   maintain   an environment that is clean and safe for all children.

Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to   provide   quality care for the children.

Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running ,   and climbing stairs.

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
