Seeking motivated and energetic COTA for our Yukon, N. OKC or El Reno location. Oklahoma Pediatric Therapy Center, believes strongly in teamwork and it is our goal to work together with families to help each child to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. We strive to keep a personal small clinic atmosphere, while still providing the highest quality treatment and family training. We provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and behavioral services.

Pediatric Occupational Therapist Assistant Job Description:

This is an opportunity for a therapist who wants to work with clients in a private practice setting with an amazing team! You will have the opportunity to work with the pediatric population and their families and will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of a range of neuro-developmental disorders. We encourage learning and development and offer a supportive, collaborative work environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS for the Pediatric Occupational Therapist Assistant

  • Associates level degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Oklahoma State License: COTA
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
  • Basic computer skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS the Pediatric Occupational Therapist Assistant

  • Experience working in pediatrics
  • Experience working with clients with developmental disorders

Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of treatment plans designed by the occupational therapist
  • Provide direct treatment to children in engaging developmental therapy activities
  • Monitor and provide timely documentation of progress for each therapy session
  • Provide feedback to the occupational therapist to adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Educate parents and caregivers on exercises and activities to continue therapy at home
  • Follow compliance and ethical standards for best practice in pediatric occupational therapy
