Are you a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and ensuring accuracy? We're seeking a Commissions Processing Administrator to support our insurance administration team for a 6 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within the insurance industry while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
In this role, you'll be a key contributor to the commission processing function, helping ensure accurate commission payments, maintaining critical records, and supporting reporting activities that drive business decisions.
What You'll Do
Commission Processing
- Analyze and reconcile carrier commission statements and payment data.
- Process and validate commission information for accuracy.
- Maintain commission schedules and records within proprietary systems.
- Track, analyze, and maintain commission-related data from multiple sources.
- Support various aspects of the commission administration process.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate and validate commission reports used for compensation calculations.
- Produce monthly reports for financial and operational purposes.
- Prepare ad hoc reports for leadership and business partners.
- Analyze monthly trends, corrections, and reporting variances.
Administrative Support
- Process policy and broker-related updates.
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
- Respond to broker inquiries and support day-to-day administrative operations.
What We're Looking For
✅ Strong data entry and administrative experience.
✅ Basic to intermediate Excel skills, including working with spreadsheets and data tracking.
✅ Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
✅ Ability to work accurately in a deadline-driven environment.
✅ Insurance Industry Experience Is Preferred But Not Required.
