We are seeking a passionate and energetic PK4 Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of preschool children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where appropriate.
  • Create an engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth through hands-on activities and interactive lessons.
  • Manage daily classroom routines, including circle time, play-based learning, snack time, and rest periods, ensuring a structured yet flexible schedule.
  • Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation, respect, and self-regulation among students.
  • Conduct assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and maintain detailed records of developmental milestones.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental needs.
  • Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention by adapting activities and providing individualized support.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment by adhering to childcare regulations and promoting child welfare practices.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities related to childhood development, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.

Skills

  • Knowledge of special education strategies and experience supporting children with diverse learning needs or behavioral challenges.
  • Strong classroom management skills to create an organized environment conducive to learning and growth.

  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Experience with standardized testing procedures for early childhood assessment purposes.
  • Familiarity with toddler care practices and early intervention strategies to support developmental milestones.
  • Ability to implement behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions among young children.
  • Knowledge of child welfare policies to ensure safety and well-being within the classroom setting.
  • Experience working within private school environments or accredited early childhood programs is preferred.
  • Competence in teaching physical education activities that promote motor skills development.
  • Background in childcare or daycare operations with a focus on creating nurturing environments for young learners.
