Overview
Skilled Welder fabricator need. Looking for someone with experience building jigs of various sizes, regular use of ironworkers, and experience in custom fabrication for building materials.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, and welding to join metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and installation processes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment safely and effectively during fabrication and assembly.
- Execute pipe bending, tube bending, pipe threading, and pipe installation tasks in accordance with ASME codes & standards and NFPA standards for fire sprinkler fitting systems.
- Follow safety procedures diligently while working on construction sites or manufacturing facilities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding techniques such as MIG, FCAW, TIG, and welding within construction or manufacturing settings.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge of pipe fitting, soldering, tube bending, pipe threading, and sprinkler system installation.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, schematics, and rigging equipment.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
