Welder/Fabricator

Overview

Skilled Welder fabricator need. Looking for someone with experience building jigs of various sizes, regular use of ironworkers, and experience in custom fabrication for building materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, and welding to join metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and installation processes.
• Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment safely and effectively during fabrication and assembly.
• Execute pipe bending, tube bending, pipe threading, and pipe installation tasks in accordance with ASME codes & standards and NFPA standards for fire sprinkler fitting systems.
• Follow safety procedures diligently while working on construction sites or manufacturing facilities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in welding techniques such as MIG, FCAW, TIG, and welding within construction or manufacturing settings.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge of pipe fitting, soldering, tube bending, pipe threading, and sprinkler system installation.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, schematics, and rigging equipment.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
