The  Business and Requirements Analyst, IT (Federal Clients) supports our clients with software release oversight and tracking, requirements analysis and development, product owner support, and process optimization. Ideal candidates have  4 years of experience as a business and requirements analyst. Must have extensive experience with Jira and Confluence and developing business and system requirements.

Arc Aspicio is currently operating in a  hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely - depending on client, contract, and company needs. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment.

Responsibilities

Consulting associates apply strong analytical and technical skills to help implement business solutions. They work closely with clients and internal teams to improve operations, solve problems, deliver strategic insights, and deliver solutions. Their responsibilities include:

Direct support to product owner to manage, prepare, and support increment and sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospectives

Expertise in business and systems requirement gathering and documenting, process mapping, and workflow optimization

Demonstrated experience and interactions in Agile and SAFe methodologies, testing, and system deployment

Strong capabilities in Jira and Confluence management and workflows

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions

Excellent writing skills to document standard operating procedures, business processes, and support clear client communication

Take on new responsibilities and learn the mission/business while maintaining excellent attention to detail, finding ways to exceed client expectations

Contribute to company service areas beyond just the project to build new skills and help the company grow by developing our capabilities and selling new business

Contribute to our company culture, which promotes collaboration, learning, and helping others to grow and develop

Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service, and achieving mission results

Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients

Required Qualifications

At least 4 years of experience as a business and requirements analyst, extensive experience with Jira and Confluence

Clearance: Due to Federal contract and/or regulatory requirements, this position is limited to U.S. citizens only. This position does not offer employer sponsorship

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field

Currently holds or has the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential

Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person

Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools like SharePoint

Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects

Ability to work in the Washington, DC metro area and travel to different locations

Critical Skills: Executive presence, leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, collaborative mind-set, excellent problem-solving skills, and interest in working in a consulting firm. Interest in working on assignments outside of one project is strongly desired

Preferred Qualifications

Active Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent is preferred but not required
