Job Description

As a Crate Conditioning Technician, responsible for preparing steel crates for production fulfillment by operating a computer and printer system, a forklift, and a surface-conditioning drum to clean, smooth, and condition crate surfaces. Ensured crates meet quality standards and customer specifications while supporting accurate inventory tracking through proper barcode label application and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operated a surface conditioning drum to clean and prepare steel crates for production.
• Applying a layer of protective enamel spray paint over the conditioned area.
• Conditioned crate surfaces to ensure proper barcode label adhesion and readability.
• Inspected steel crates for surface defects and damage prior to production use.
• Verified compliance with customer specifications and company quality standards.
• Operated a computer and printer system to create, print, and manage barcode labels for steel crates.
• Applied and maintained barcode labels to support inventory tracking and production accuracy.
• Maintained a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety procedures and operational guidelines.
