We are now seeking qualified Veterans, Retired Police Officers, and Experienced Security Professionals to join our team for temporary, on-call maritime security assignments in the Curtis Bay, Maryland area.

Duties

• Guarding ships in port and providing strict access control.

12-hour shifts (days and nights). Assignments typically last 24 to 72 hours. Ship schedules are published several weeks in advance. Ships call into port 30+ times per year.

Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to ensure the safety of the premises.

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Check credentials
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid TWIC credential.

Current Maryland Guard Card.

Prior military, law enforcement, or professional security (4 years experience preferred).

Reliability, professionalism, and ability to work on short notice.
