Make a lasting impact by offering your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a supportive school environment near Cary, NC! This engaging, part-time contract position runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, offering up to 20 hours per week. You’ll contribute to student success through direct, on-site services, with assigned schools and caseload details to be confirmed ahead of your start.

Ideal candidates will bring a team spirit and a commitment to fostering communication growth among students. The role is strictly for SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence—CFYs are not eligible for this position.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Hold a current SLP-CCC and professional license
  • Possess or be eligible for an educator certificate
  • Minimum of 1 year of school-based SLP experience required
  • Willingness to register for an NPI number and with NC Tracks prior to start
  • Obtain DCDEE Fingerprinting clearance
  • Comfortable working independently across multiple schools (assignments TBD)
  • Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy for students (age group and caseload to be determined)
  • Perform evaluations, set student goals, and document progress
  • Consult with educators and families to develop effective intervention plans
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and compliance documentation
  • Maintain proper records as required by the school system and state guidelines
