Job Description for Food Services Team Member:
The Food Services Team Member plays a role in supporting the manager through tasks such as assisting with food and meal preparation, handling cash receipts, and maintaining meal records. They also help in completing daily reports and ensuring that high standards are met in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety protocols.
Responsibilities for Food Services Team Member:
- Generate top-tier cuisine and baked delights based on a structured menu
- Draft a daily verification report for all completed transactions
- Understanding the inclusions of a meal is key
- Maintain accurate and hygienic storage of food to prevent contamination
- Serve food according to meal schedules and in compliance with departmental policies and procedures
- It is crucial to utilize and maintain kitchen equipment, particularly cutting tools, to enhance culinary efficiency and ensure safety
- Creating a selection of food options, beverages, and snacks with efficient and timely preparation
- Increase customer happiness and aesthetic attractiveness by including garnishments
- Help organize and assist with the major cleanup of refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen appliances
- Uphold food safety standards through adherence to regulations regarding cleanliness, handling, and storage
- Establish a daily connection with the manager to comprehend and meticulously organize the menu for the day
- Follow the guidelines for monitoring food temperature requirements
- Preserve the cleanliness and organization of your work and storage space
- Maintain sanitation by scrubbing counters, polishing surfaces, and sanitizing steam tables and equipment
- Abide by designated procedures and standards for hygiene to ensure a balanced and safe ambiance; responsibilities include sweeping, disinfecting, and washing dishes
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the garbage collection point and kitchen floor areas
Qualifications for Food Services Team Member:
- Food Service Certificate as needed
- Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
- Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
