Cash Handler

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for processing transactions, balancing cash, and providing the best-of-the-best customer service. Job Responsibilities:

• Efficiently utilize the Register/POS system to conduct transactions accurately and ensure the secure handling of cash and credit card payments.
• Acknowledge and cater to patrons while predicting their needs, creating a favorable environment for them.
• Manage the cash drawer by counting, categorizing, and ensuring the financial equilibrium of the cash register; complete cashier forms and handle bank deposits.
• Ensure that you follow Aramark's cash handling policies without fail.
• Be well-versed and informed about the merchandise being offered to support customers and conduct transactions precisely.
• Carry out the opening and closing procedures as outlined for the specific operating times of the unit.
• Maintain a neat and hygienic work setting throughout the shift and when wrapping up for the day.
• Ensure that the place is consistently well-supplied during operation by restocking as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and protocols without exception.

Qualifications:

• Candidates with previous experience in serving customers are preferred.
• Experience in managing cash in the past is advantageous.
• Adequate understanding of fundamental mathematical operations and counting abilities are necessary.
• Capability to work self-sufficiently with restricted supervision.
• The completion of Food Handler and Alcohol Service training is a compulsory requirement as per the location's standards.
• This role may necessitate the performance of activities like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing.
• The role might involve the need for specific outfits and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
