Job Overview

Join our compassionate and dedicated team as a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our skilled nursing facility! In this role, you will provide exceptional nursing care, support residents' health and well-being, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and caring LPN who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our residents.

Schedule: Full-Time, Thursday through Sunday

What You'll Be DoingResident Care & Well-Being

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state and federal regulations.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing services as prescribed.
  • Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the physician and supervising nurse.
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in resident medical records.
  • Participate in developing and updating individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Staff & Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and other team members to provide comprehensive resident care.
  • Assist in supervising and directing nursing assistants during assigned shifts.
  • Serve as a resource and support for nursing staff when needed.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

Quality Assurance & Safety

  • Follow infection control practices and safety procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all facility policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Observe residents for signs of abuse, neglect, or changes in condition and report concerns appropriately.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness activities and safety drills.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete all required charting and documentation accurately and timely.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
  • Ensure medication administration records and treatment records are completed correctly.
  • Participate in surveys, audits, and quality improvement initiatives as needed.

Professional Development

  • Attend required in-service trainings and staff meetings.
  • Maintain current licensure and certifications.
  • Stay informed on best practices in long-term care nursing.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications You'll NeedEducation & Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
  • Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.

Certifications

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience with PCC preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $43.50 per hour
