Job Overview
Join our compassionate and dedicated team as a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our skilled nursing facility! In this role, you will provide exceptional nursing care, support residents' health and well-being, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and caring LPN who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our residents.
Schedule: Full-Time, Thursday through Sunday
What You'll Be DoingResident Care & Well-Being
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state and federal regulations.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing services as prescribed.
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the physician and supervising nurse.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in resident medical records.
- Participate in developing and updating individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Staff & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and other team members to provide comprehensive resident care.
- Assist in supervising and directing nursing assistants during assigned shifts.
- Serve as a resource and support for nursing staff when needed.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
Quality Assurance & Safety
- Follow infection control practices and safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Observe residents for signs of abuse, neglect, or changes in condition and report concerns appropriately.
- Participate in emergency preparedness activities and safety drills.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete all required charting and documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
- Ensure medication administration records and treatment records are completed correctly.
- Participate in surveys, audits, and quality improvement initiatives as needed.
Professional Development
- Attend required in-service trainings and staff meetings.
- Maintain current licensure and certifications.
- Stay informed on best practices in long-term care nursing.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications You'll NeedEducation & Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.
Certifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience with PCC preferred.

Pay: $38.00 - $43.50 per hour
