Thornton , CO| $35–$40/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a well-established heavy civil construction company in Colorado that has built a strong reputation over the past 20 years. They’re known for running high-quality projects and taking care of their people.

They’re looking for a dependable, hands-on mechanic who can handle everything from small engines to large diesel equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform preventative maintenance to keep fleet equipment running efficiently
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems
• Work on gas and diesel-powered trucks
• Service heavy construction equipment and small tools
• Operate a mobile service truck to support multiple job sites
• Deliver equipment when needed (CDL preferred)
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance
• Work safely around heavy equipment including forklifts, skid steers, and backhoes

What They’re Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on preventative maintenance experience
• Strong diagnostic ability across hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems
• Experience with gas and diesel engines
• Comfortable working on both small engines and large heavy equipment
• CDL with clean MVR preferred
• Team-oriented, can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen

Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and working in tight spaces
• Lift up to 70 lbs occasionally; 50 lbs frequently
• Work outdoors in varying temperatures and dusty/greasy environments
• Repetitive use of hands and tools
