Surgical Technologist Apprentice

The Surgical Technologist Apprentice Program is a work-based learning opportunity for students enrolled in an approved Surgical Technology Program.

• Participants assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of a preceptor, preparing the OR, maintaining sterile environments, and handling instrumentation.
• The program typically lasts 9-12 months and emphasizes developing skills in sterile techniques, instrument handling, and patient care across all age groups.
• Qualifications include completing three semesters of a Surgical Technology Program, passing the NCCT exam, and BLS certification.
• No prior experience is required.
