- A Unique, Low‑Frequency Role for a Dental Assistant Who Values Flexibility
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a dependable, experienced Dental Assistant to support our Dentist and Optometrist in a calm, structured outpatient clinic setting serving senior patients in North Charleston.
This role is intentionally low‑volume and predictable — ideal for someone who wants to maintain clinical skills, earn supplemental income, and support meaningful care without the pace or pressure of a traditional dental office.
Schedule & Expectations
Because our providers are onsite on specific days, the ideal candidate must be available:
- 2 Mondays per month (Dental)
- 1 Wednesday per month (Optometry)
- Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- No nights. No weekends. No on‑call.
This is a great fit for someone who values consistency, mission‑driven work, and a stable, once‑a‑week rhythm.
What You'll Experience
This is not a high‑pressure dental office. Instead, you'll work in a community‑based outpatient clinic model with:
- Full‑time clinic staff onsite
- Organized scheduling and predictable patient flow
- A supportive, team‑based environment
- A value‑based care model focused on seniors
- Strong administrative and logistical support from CMC
Our Dental Assistants are essential partners in ensuring smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
What You'll Do
- Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits
- Support patient intake and basic documentation
- Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
- Assist with equipment setup and patient flow
- Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
✔️ What We're Looking For
- Dental Assisting experience required
- Dental Assisting Registration/Certification preferred (if required by state)
- Experience with senior populations is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort working in a structured, team‑based clinic environment
- Reliability — this schedule depends on consistent attendance
❤️ Why This Role Stands Out
- Predictable, low‑frequency schedule
- Meaningful work supporting senior patients
- Supportive, organized clinical environment
- Opportunity to maintain skills without burnout
- Perfect supplemental role for someone seeking stability and purpose
If you're looking for a flexible, mission‑driven role where your clinical skills make a real difference — even just a few days each month — we'd love to hear from you.
