Title: Radiologic Technologist – CT Tech / MRI Tech Location: Syracuse, New York Duration: 14 Weeks (High possibility of extension) Schedule: Evening Shift | 5x8.5-Hour Shifts Shift Timing: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Weekly Hours: 42.5 Hours Position Overview: "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist with CT and/or MRI experience to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in an acute care environment. The technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, radiation protection, and compliance with imaging protocols. Primary Responsibilities: - Perform CT and radiographic imaging examinations as directed by radiologists - Position patients accurately for optimal imaging results - Explain imaging procedures and provide patient instructions - Set appropriate exposure factors to ensure image quality - Operate CT imaging systems safely and efficiently - Follow radiation safety and protection protocols - Monitor and report equipment issues or malfunctions - Maintain accurate documentation within Radiology Information Systems (RIS) - Follow departmental imaging protocols and procedures - Assist with image processing, data entry, and related documentation - Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services based on physician orders Required Qualifications: - Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent - Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License/Registration - Minimum 1 year of CT and/or MRI experience - Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and radiation safety practices - Experience operating advanced imaging equipment - Familiarity with Radiology Information Systems (RIS) - Successful completion of required health clearance Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Siemens CT scanners strongly preferred - Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols - Previous hospital-based CT imaging experience - Ability to work independently during evening shifts - Strong patient communication and troubleshooting skills Contact Information: For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
