Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Citrus Post Acute is a 24-hour 144-bed skilled nursing facility located in Santa Ana, CA. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals work to help patients recover from surgery, injury, or from serious illnesses.

Our Rehab team is known to provide the highest quality of care to our residents as our team is full of support and teamwork. We are currently on the search for a Per Diem COTA to join the team in helping us continue to strive for excellence.

Pay Range:

$38-43/hour

Overview of the Position:

The COTA supports OT's in providing therapy treatments and procedures in carrying out routine functions, direct activity programs, and documenting the progress of treatments.

•

Assist OT’s to plan, implement, and administer programs to restore and enhance performance in individuals with functional impairments.

•

Selects therapy activities to fit patients’ needs and capabilities.

•

Observes and records patients’ progress, attitudes, and behavior, and maintains this information in client records.

•

Attends care plan meetings to review patient progress and update care plans.

Qualifications:

•

Occupational Therapy Assistant Certificate

•

BLS/CPR

•

PCC experience preferred

•

Skilled Nursing experience preferred
