Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Perform welding and fitting tasks using various techniques
• Assemble metal components and structures according to project specifications.
• Inspect and test welded joints to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred but not required.
