JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Reno, NV
Weekly Pay: Up to $2,410/week
Shift: Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12s (36 Hours/Week) | Variable Schedule
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Travel Requirement: Must reside 100+ miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler.

Prolink is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a rewarding travel opportunity in Reno, Nevada. This position is ideal for an RT with extensive Level III NICU experience who thrives in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and is passionate about caring for critically ill neonatal patients.
Please note: This is a highly specialized role. Candidates must meet the required Level III NICU experience listed below to be considered.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Active Respiratory Therapy license (Nevada or eligible)
- Active ABG License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent Level III NICU experience
Required Clinical Experience
Candidates must be proficient in:
- High-Frequency Ventilation (HFOV/HFJV)
- Nitric Oxide Therapy
- Heliox Therapy
- Neonatal Intubation
- Neonatal Ventilator Management
- Bubble CPAP
- Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannula (Neonatal)
- Neonatal Arterial Puncture
- Delivery Attendance
Preferred Experience
- NICU Transport
Position Expectations
- Float between Adult Critical Care and Neonatal Critical Care as needed.
- Participate in an on-call rotation when scheduled.
- Assess, evaluate, and treat neonatal and adult patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Administer physician-prescribed respiratory therapies.
- Manage ventilators, artificial airways, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications.
- Perform arterial blood gas collection and analysis.
- Monitor and interpret cardiopulmonary diagnostics.
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and attend high-risk neonatal deliveries.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments when appropriate.
