Overview: The Quality Control Administrator will report to the site Quality Manager or Sr. Quality Field Operations Manager as applicable, and indirectly to the Sr. Manager of Quality Control. This role will involve collecting and managing all documentation that demonstrates conformance to project specifications. Quality Control Administrators must have a strong understanding of material traceability, inspection requirements for various disciplines, and the construction documentation turnover process.
TRAVEL: Travel is required up to 100%, with the position requiring presence directly on the project site in Boise, ID.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize records digitally throughout the project lifecycle.
- Update isometric drawings in digital format using PDF markup software.
- Ensure inspection records are traceable to their field locations.
- Review documentation for accuracy and integrity.
- Match Nondestructive Examination (NDE) and Material Test Records (MTRs) to welding documents.
- Maintain all Quality and Inspection logs, including project Weld Logs.
- Ensure calibration documentation conforms to inspection requirements.
- Guide and mentor personnel on documentation accuracy.
- Utilize multiple platforms to organize records.
- Conduct frequent audits to verify compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare paper records for project turnover as needed.
- Maintain professionalism in attitude and appearance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a QA/QC role; education toward an engineering or technical degree may substitute for experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a construction environment.
- Knowledge of P&IDs and system breakdown for turnover packages.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and construction management software.
- Experience with weld mapping, flange mapping, and traceability in Industrial or Oil and Gas projects.
- Proven capability with Bluebeam Revu; experience with Smartsheet and InEight preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Understanding of MIC Health and Safety programs and regulations.
- Knowledge of construction inspection requirements in an industrial setting.
- Ability to read and interpret various types of drawings and reports.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with document management processes.
- Strong communication skills; able to present work professionally.
