Your Role:
As a Cook in our Healthcare Foodservice division, you'll collaborate with a dedicated kitchen team to create and serve high-quality meals. This part-time position (under 30 hours per week) includes shifts from 5am - 1pm, 9:30am - 5:15pm, and 10:30am - 6:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality and portion control
- Prepare and present food creatively
- Uphold kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
- Ensure proper food storage
- Follow safe food handling policies and recipes
What We’re Looking For:
Must-haves:
- Minimum of one year’s line cook experience in a high-volume establishment emphasizing scratch cooking
- Knowledge of proper culinary methods and standards
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate a range of kitchen equipment and tools
- Customer service experience
Nice-to-haves:
- Food handlers’ certification
- Experience in healthcare cooking
- Familiarity with POS systems
Work Location: Redeemer Health - Lafayette, Philadelphia, PA 19111
Compensation: Starting pay of $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on relevant experience.
