Jorgensen Company is looking for a positive and professional Call Center/Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be handling a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls and voicemails. You will interact with customers as well as office personnel to provide support, handle inquiries, resolve complaints, dispatch calls and/or set up prospects. As a Call Center Service Representative, you will be communicating with customers over the phone or via email. This job will also support our Front Counter Sales by giving customers information about products and services,

processing orders and returns, resolving complaints, and answering questions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a courteous manner on every call and maintain a welcoming office atmosphere.
  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
  • Dispatch customer calls using accurate information provided by the customer.
  • Requires clear and professional communication in writing, in person, and on the telephone.
  • Create positive customer relationships by managing and resolving customer complaints.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects and job duties through effective organization.
  • Keeping accurate and detailed records of all interactions for tracking and follow-up.
  • Understanding when to pass a customer’s issue to a supervisor for a solution.
  • Become knowledgeable about the company’s products, services, and policies to answer customer inquiries effectively.
  • Process customer requests and inquiries to include account maintenance, billing questions, and payment handling, establishing an initial point of contact.
  • Print dispatches to the appropriate offices.
  • Perform clerical duties as required by photocopying, scanning, faxing, emailing, or mailing.
  • Learn all functions and duties of the front counter customer service representative to fill in as a backup upon request or as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with supervisors, peers, and customers.
  • Proficiency in 10-key, typing, and data entry
  • Time management skills; dependable, accurate, and detail-oriented.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Job requires sitting for extended periods of time, using a computer keyboard, looking at a computer monitor for extended periods, and using a telephone.

Pay: $18/hr.
