Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will perform incoming, first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using engineering drawings, specifications, and approved inspection methods. You will verify dimensional, visual, and workmanship requirements using precision measuring equipment and review manufacturing documentation to ensure traceability, certifications, and quality records are complete.

Responsibilities

  • Complete inspection records, AS9102 First Article documentation, and other required quality records.
  • Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming material in accordance with company procedures.
  • Verify measuring equipment is within calibration prior to use and report discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality departments to resolve product quality issues.
  • Support AS9100 requirements, internal audits, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of inspection experience in aerospace or other precision manufacturing.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, AS9102, and aerospace quality requirements preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic quality records.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training or quality certification preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
