Job Description:

Your role as a Warehouse Production Worker at Aramark involves pivotal contributions to the efficiency and accuracy of product handling, from reception to distribution. You are tasked with pivotal responsibilities such as overseeing inventory management, facilitating order processing, and upholding the cleanliness and safety standards of the workplace.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for this role.
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is the preferred educational background.
• Candidates with a minimum of two years of warehouse experience are highly encouraged to apply.
• Strong foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics are essential.
• Must be comfortable using basic computer systems and software.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to share information clearly in person and in writing.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and the manual dexterity needed to operate tools and equipment safely.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs and regularly move items up to 35 lbs throughout the day.
• A valid driver’s license may be necessary based on the specific location, and a standard driving record check (MVR) will be conducted.

Physical Requirements:

• The role involves staying active, including long periods of standing and walking across the facility.
• Tasks require frequent physical movement, such as bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Strict adherence to safety standards is required, including the consistent use of assigned uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may vary by Aramark location depending on client requirements and business needs. Key responsibilities include:

• Receive, validate, and designate incoming products; disclose any discrepancies found between the delivered items and corresponding invoices
• Utilize the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) strategy for organizing and storing perishable products to optimize inventory management
• Undertake tasks requiring the operation or instruction in using manual/electric pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary
• Organize and distribute inventory to fulfill requests for products, supplies, and tools
• Perform the task of moving, unloading, and conveying goods throughout the warehouse or to client locations by means of carts or powered vehicles
• Complete inventory checks according to the established timetable
• Accurately record essential information in various documents, such as inventory logs, temperature readings, spoilage records, and equipment inspection reports, utilizing either physical or digital formats
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouse spaces, which encompass restrooms, break rooms, loading docks, and raised platforms
• Comply with safety measures, OSHA requirements, guidelines outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and emergency response protocols
• Employ suitable Personal Protective Gear (PPG) as needed
• Preserve the safety of both client and corporate belongings
• Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients, coworkers, suppliers, and visitors
• Make sure to be at meetings and complete any other tasks allocated
