Position Overview

We’re looking for a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team as a 1099 contractor. In this role, you’ll help patients regain independence by delivering hands-on therapeutic care and practical strategies that improve daily functioning.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver prescribed OT interventions to support ADLs, mobility, and safety
• Use adaptive equipment and assistive techniques to promote independence
• Educate patients and caregivers on home safety, energy conservation, and functional skills
• Collaborate closely with the supervising OT and care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress accurately and on time

Qualifications

• Current COTA certification and NBCOT registration in good standing
• 1+ year of experience (home health preferred)
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
• Self-motivated with strong time management and communication skills
