Transaction Operator
ALDI is hiring Cashiers and Stockers to work together towards a better customer shopping experience. As part of a collaborative team, you'll use registers and equipment, keep shelves stocked, ensure cleanliness, and provide outstanding customer service.
Position Type: Part-Time

New members of staff can expect to receive $18.50 in hourly pay when commencing their employment
Duties and Responsibilities:

Cashier Responsibilities:
- Completes consumer purchases, handles overall upkeep duties, replenishes stocks onto shelves, and ensures products are displayed in impressive orderliness
- Providing exceptional customer service is the top priority for ensuring customers have an enjoyable shopping experience
- Provides regular feedback to management regarding the store's inventory, including issues with product labeling, scanning, and other inventory-related discrepancies
- Plays an active role in the store inventory counts as per the set protocols and ensuring inventory accuracy
- To minimize monetary risks and losses, it is imperative to comply with the cash policies and procedures that have been put in place
Stocker Responsibilities:
- Properly organizing and rotating food products so that customers are always presented with fresh items
- Utilizing a preconceived planogram for merchandise layout is essential in creating outstanding and professional-looking displays
- Efficiently organising new arrivals and disposing of vacant containers by disassembling them is vital
- In order to successfully carry out the assigned tasks, it is essential to have experience in handling sophisticated machinery and following safety procedures
Physical Demands:
- The job description of the store requires its employees to undertake a variety of bodily movements, such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking
