Assistant Project Engineer

Build Your Career While Building Real-World Projects

Are you an early-career engineer ready to take on real responsibility, work directly with clients, and see your projects come to life? We’re looking for an Assistant Project Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants more than just technical work—you’ll own projects, collaborate with clients, and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of sectors including commercial, industrial, multifamily, education, and data centers.

What You’ll Do

  • Take the lead on small to mid-size projects from start to finish
  • Partner directly with clients and play a key role in project success
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with internal teams to keep projects moving efficiently
  • Perform a mix of fieldwork and office-based tasks
  • Travel locally to project sites (company vehicle provided for work use)

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (EIT/EI preferred)
  • 2–5 years of experience in materials testing, geotechnical, or construction engineering
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients
  • Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with construction materials testing and familiarity with ACI standards
  • Prior exposure to project management or project coordination

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Early project ownership: Take on meaningful responsibility sooner than you might elsewhere
  • Variety of work: Gain exposure to multiple industries and project types
  • Balanced work environment: Combination of field and office experience
  • Career growth: Build the foundation for advancing into project management and leadership roles

If you're looking for a role where you can grow quickly, make an impact, and develop both technical and client-facing skills, we’d love to connect with you.
