Commercial Pipe Welder

Join a leading mechanical contractor! We're hiring experienced Commercial Pipe Welders for long-term projects in Austin, Tx. If you have a strong commercial background and take pride in quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.

• Perform high-quality Stick welds on commercial piping systems
• Experience welding with 6010 electrodes required
• Weld carbon steel pipe up to 8" diameter
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld procedures, and specifications
• Perform layout, fit-up, and welding as needed
• Maintain quality workmanship while following jobsite safety standards

Requirements:

• 4+ years of commercial welding experience required
• Experience welding carbon steel piping
• Must be able to weld pipe up to 8"
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Must have all required welding tools and equipment
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
