Universal Banker - Entry Level
The Universal Banker is an entry level position responsible for the assistance in the execution of sales, products or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective of this role is to foster relations with customers to build loyalty and to help increase sales to individual consumer clients.
Assist in basic account opening for existing customers
Provide service delivery to internal or external customers to resolve account service issues
Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures
Create sales opportunities out of service transaction and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly and effectively
Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate and regulatory procedures to ensure safety and security of customer and bank assets
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required
High School diploma or equivalent
