We’re hiring full‑time Baristas to be the perfect blend to our team. You’ll prepare specialty drinks, assist with food preparation, and receive orders and payments, all while providing unforgettable experiences for our customers.

This role takes place in an events‑based setting, so schedules and hours will vary. In general, you will most likely work 3 or 4 events a year. You will turn in an availability and we will take that into account when we reach you on the scheduling list. This is a union position under Unite Here 11. New hires in this role start at 80% of the negotiated pay rate. After 20 shifts worked, the employee is raised to 90% of the negotiated pay rate. After 40 shifts worked (20 at 80%, 20 at 90%), the employee is raised to 100% of the negotiated pay rate. The salary listed in this posting applies to the starting wage of 80%.

Compensation Data

Hourly rate: $21.80 to $21.80. Aramark offers a good‑faith estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.

Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.

Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages per brand standards.

Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.

Count, organize, and balance cash drawer; complete the cashier slip and make deposits.

Adhere to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures.

Set up and break down coffee bar stations or stores, including cleaning and sanitizing.

Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.

Stock beverage coolers, grab‑and‑go items, service ware, and condiments.

Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience preferred.

Previous cash handling experience preferred.

Previous experience as a barista preferred.

Basic math and counting skills required.

Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.

Must follow the required dress code as assigned.

Able to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.

Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. Uniforms and personal protective equipment may also be required.
