About the Team

The US Local Markets team is responsible for growing DoorDash’s business at the local level. As the “local operators” at DoorDash, we identify execute against opportunities to accelerate growth improve our product across all three sides of the Marketplace (customer, merchant, Dasher).

About the Role

DoorDash is looking for a Manager to join the Strategy Operations team to accelerate growth in the Southeast Texas regions. We are hiring out of Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville (Southeast region) as well as Austin or Houston (Texas region).

You have experience blending analytics and creativity to scope and implement solutions, working as an individual contributor and as part of a larger team. You move deliberately and with speed. You can reliably manage multiple workstreams at a low level of detail.

You will report to the General Manager of the US Local Markets team and manage a Strategy + Operations team based in your market. We expect this role to be hybrid, with some time in-office and some time remote.

Build the team — Recruit, lead, and develop high-performing candidates on the US Local Markets team

Influence – Work cross-functionally with Ops, Product, Finance, Analytics, Sales, Marketing, Dasher Logistics partners to support strategic projects and unlock opportunities to grow region

Operate – Figure out how to get from A to B–then actually make it happen.

You have 6+ years of experience. You’ve succeeded in high-performance cultures (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience).

Early stage startup experience a plus

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Masters Degree a plus

Logistics, Product Management, Business Operations and/or Partnerships experience a plus

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.

For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
