Staff Accountant

Role Overview

We're looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to own daily bookkeeping across our client base while growing into tax preparation and ad hoc advisory work. Day to day, the core of the role is full-cycle bookkeeping and reconciliations; during tax season and beyond, you'll prepare individual and business returns. This is a great opportunity for a CPA or CPA candidate who wants real breadth across a diverse set of clients.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple client entities (QuickBooks Online primary)
• Bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare individual (1040) and business tax returns (1065, 1120-S, 1120)
• Support IOLTA reconciliations and trust accounting for law firm clients (training provided)
• Generate client-facing reports, KPI summaries, and financial statements
• Ad hoc projects including payroll support, financial analysis, and special engagements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 1+ year of full-cycle bookkeeping experience required
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA licensure strongly preferred
• Experience with individual and/or business tax returns strongly preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required; ATX experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously

What We Offer

• $55,000–$65,000 depending on experience

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
