Senior Accounting Manager / Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $115,000 to $160,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

•

Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger activities, payables, receivables, payroll support, cash management, and fixed assets.

•

Lead month end, quarter end, and year end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

•

Prepare and review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analyses to maintain reporting accuracy.

•

Partner with operational and finance teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and business performance initiatives.

•

Drive process improvements, support audit activities, and assist with strategic projects such as growth initiatives and financial transactions.

Requirements:

•

A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

•

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.

•

Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.

•

Prior experience working with accounting software, enterprise systems, and advanced Excel functions.

•

Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

•

Professional certification or progress toward certification.

•

Previous experience within hospitality, restaurant, retail, consumer products, or other multi location environments.

•

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret financial results and identify trends.

•

Excellent communication and leadership abilities with experience developing and supporting team members.

•

High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving processes and supporting business growth.
