Welder

Job Title: MIG Welder

Pay Rate: $24-$26/ per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled MIG Welder to join a well-established metal fabrication team. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in MIG and TIG welding, particularly with structural steel and I-beams. We seek someone who is hardworking, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare columns according to job specifications.
• Measure punched holes for accuracy based on drawings.
• Request materials from the supply room as needed.
• Cut and install PVC drainpipes within columns.
• Install conduit within columns if required.
• Measure, cope, or taper beams following job drawings.
• Check plate inventory when necessary.
• Weld web stiffeners and end plates to beams as required.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Experience working with steel and aluminum materials.
• Strong proficiency with MIG and Plasma Welding Machines.
• Ability to read blueprints, tape measures, and job specifications.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while welding.
