SUMMARY

A private residence in Mission Hills is seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented, and dependable Housekeeper / Household Assistant to support the daily operations of a 2,500-square-foot home. This is a long-term, W-2 position offering a fixed annual salary and an average schedule of approximately 40 hours per week. The principals are looking for a trusted professional who can become an integral part of their household, providing exceptional service, flexibility, and consistent support.

The Housekeeper / Household Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the principals' residence to exceptional standards while providing thoughtful day-to-day household support. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced private-service professional who takes pride in creating a beautifully maintained, highly organized, and welcoming home.

A primary focus of the role will be comprehensive housekeeping, including detailed cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, household organization, and ensuring the residence is consistently prepared for the principals' arrival. Additional responsibilities include light meal preparation, inventory management, appointment coordination, and general household assistance.

The principals share their home primarily with two beloved Corgis that are considered cherished members of the family. An additional Pit Bull also stays at the residence from time to time. While this is not a dedicated dog care position, the successful candidate must genuinely enjoy being around dogs and feel comfortable incorporating their daily care into the household routine. Responsibilities include feeding, walking, supervising, and monitoring the dogs' overall well-being while the principals are home or traveling. The ideal candidate will naturally develop a close relationship with the dogs and provide them with attentive, loving care as part of the daily operation of the household.

A key component of this position is serving as a trusted presence in the home when the principals are traveling. They divide their time between Mission Hills and Los Angeles (Hollywood Hills), and the candidate will spend significant time at the Mission Hills residence during their absences to ensure the property remains secure, immaculate, and fully maintained. This includes restocking supplies, addressing household needs, and ensuring the residence is always prepared for the principals' return. The candidate must also be comfortable staying at the Los Angeles residence approximately once per month for up to four consecutive days.

This position requires flexibility, excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset. Some days will be housekeeping-focused, while others may involve additional household support depending on the principals' needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Housekeeping & Home Care

• Maintain exceptional interior cleanliness, organization, and overall household presentation.
• Perform detailed housekeeping to luxury private-home standards.
• Manage all laundry, ironing, steaming, folding, wardrobe care, and closet organization.
• Care for fine garments, linens, delicate fabrics, and specialty household items.
• Develop and maintain efficient cleaning schedules and household routines.
• Restock refrigerators, pantries, and household essentials.
• Perform light exterior tasks such as property walk-throughs, tidying outdoor areas, and occasional plant watering.
• Provide house-sitting and property oversight during principal travel.
• Coordinate with household vendors and service providers as needed.
• Ensure the residence is consistently guest-ready and prepared for the principals' arrival.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and household safety.

Dog Care

• Provide attentive daily care for the family's two Corgis, with occasional care for the family's Pit Bull when it is staying at the residence.
• Feed, walk, supervise, and spend quality time with the dogs.
• Monitor their general health, comfort, and behavior, communicating any concerns to the principals.
