Job Description:

The Wall Doctor LLC, located in Bellevue, is hiring for an experienced construction carpenter to add to our team. We restore, repair and renovate single-family homes, multi-family homes, condominiums, and small commercial spaces primarily in the Seattle/Bellevue/Everett area. We are looking for someone with a solid framing and finish carpentry foundation.

Overview:

• This position is for a bags-on, experienced carpenter who is comfortable with jobs that range from installing baseboards to updating the structural supports in a house.
• Applicant must be an even tempered, highly motivated, detail oriented, & good at solving issues that pop up.
• We are looking for someone that can handle working with others and on their own, who ask questions, follow direction, & solve problems on site.
• Will be working with another carpenter until fully vetted.

General:

• 5+ years in carpentry, framing, & finishing with journeyman-level skills.
• Leadership/foreman experience is a plus.
• Estimating experience is a plus.
• Experience creating/editing blueprints and shop drawings is a plus.
• Personal working tools with expert-level use of construction tools & job-site equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, vendors, co-workers, & home office.
• Strictly follow company safety rules & procedures.
• Ensuring projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, & applicable building codes while maintaining high quality standards.
• Preps the jobsite using protective materials & leaves the jobsite clean.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership of work performed, maintaining consistent quality, and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements for the position:

• Personal working tools
• Lift 50+ pounds, comfortable with heights & capable of standing for long periods of time.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Pass Background Check
• Have reliable transportation
• 18 years or older

Compensation:

• Wage will depend on experience and qualifications.
• Hourly compensation, eligible for overtime.

Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
