NewLimit is a biotechnology company working to radically extend human healthspan. We’re developing medicines to treat age-related diseases by reprogramming the epigenome, a new therapeutic mechanism to restore regenerative potential in aged and diseased cells. We leverage functional genomics, pooled perturbation screening, and machine learning models to unravel the biology of epigenetic aging and disease using experiments of unprecedented scale.
Position
NewLimit is seeking an Executive Recruiter to own all executive-level hiring for our fast-growing company. NewLimit is a science-driven organization operating at the confluence of multiple highly-technical fields. For many of our executive roles, there are fewer than 100 qualified candidates in the world. This is an opportunity to partner directly with our executive team, navigate highly specialized talent pools, and help build the leadership bench that will scale the company.
As part of your role, you will:
Partner with our executive team and senior leadership to scope executive-level positions, define success criteria, and develop hiring strategies
Source and recruit executive talent across technical, operational, and commercial domains — identifying rare candidates who combine deep domain expertise with leadership caliber
Own the end-to-end recruiting process for all executive hires: from sourcing and candidate development through offer negotiation and close
Develop relationships with top-tier talent across computational biology, machine learning, functional genomics, immunology, and related fields
Execute with excellence across all unit operations (sourcing, scheduling, closing) to deliver high-impact hires
Contribute to scaling recruiting processes and strategies to support accelerating hiring needs across the organization
Requirements
Multi-year experience recruiting at the executive level (VP+, C-suite) in top-tier biotechnology or technology companies
Proven success sourcing and closing rare, highly specialized talent, ideally with a track record of recruiting candidates from exceptionally narrow talent pools
Experience executing end-to-end recruiting cycles for executive-level roles with strong attention to candidate experience
Strategic partnership skills: ability to collaborate with C-suite and senior leaders to understand business needs, define roles, and build alignment
Excellent communicator who can articulate company vision and culture compellingly to senior executives
Nice to have
Bachelor's degree or greater in natural sciences or engineering
Experience recruiting within computational biology, machine learning, cell molecular biology, functional genomics, or immunology
Background working with early-to-growth-stage companies navigating rapid scaling
Experience building or improving recruiting function strategy and processes
